So when I can’t come up with ideas for a new finished pic, I start doodling or in this case, studying. I couldn’t help but draw the head of this girl stylized, but then again, I suck at realistic faces and I don’t wanna scare you guys D:
I also should mention that I love drawing with SAI’s Binary tool. I really do.

Starting to draw from Preston Blair again

I decided to start going through Preston Blair’s book again. I don’t know but I stop in the middle and thus I don’t end up finishing and learning something.

Well I’m going to actually try and do it regularly.

I’ll go through every single drawing in the book. I’ll try to make them as accurate as I can. I’m of course praticing both traditionally and digitally. But I’m going to post only the digital ones because sadly, I don’t have a scanner.

And I’m going through Advanced Animation, not Cartoon Animation.

So yeah. This is the very very first study.

Preston Blair Study 1

I have already noticied some mistakes myself after showing one through the another in Photoshop. I need to rotate the head a bit more clockwise, along with making the right ear a bit bigger, I also needed to make the left ear a teeeny bit wider. And make it smaller, I made it a bit too big.

I don’t know why I didn’t start doing this earlier (the last time I have followed the book was last year).
