for the people that wanted rebloggable!

Dude if I didn’t post stuff I knew had flaws then I’d have nothing to show at all. No artist is perfect.

Don’t worry about it, my dad is already taking care of this. He used to fix computers for a living, so he’s helping me out.

iliekponiez said: There are no words for such horror. I hope, hope, HOPE you’re able to get your data back. 8(

I know, it’s just too much stuff for me to lose all out of a sudden. Let’s hope I get it all back. If I don’t, oh well.

What?! You too, dude? God damnit, this is just way too bad….but don’t give up, man.
it’s so weird that it happened a little bit after you lost your hd too. hmm.
I won’t though! who knows, maybe i’ll have my stuff back. if it doesn’t happen, oh well.

Holy crap, that sucks! My condolences, man. :(
the weirdest thing about this is that one day before it died i did some scribbles of your characters (which oddly enough i never did) :P
go figure.

my hd is dead

yes.

there’s some small chance that I’ll be able to recover the data, but it’s pretty much dead at this point.

I lost like, 30 gb of art references (some which you can’t even find anymore on the web), along with my art. I even had some drawings I made a day before that I was going to post, but they’re gone.

oh well.

if I stop posting for a while, now you know why.

things to remember while drawing:

  • anatomy is great but dont stop because you cant get it perfect
  • not every picture has to be a masterpiece
  • try new things but remember its ok to draw things you like to draw
  • just because someone younger than you is “better” than you are does not mean you are untalented
  • everyone sees things differently
  • be proud of what you can do because nobody can do things the same way you can

24.Do you have a shameful art past? (recolour sprite comics, tracing art, etc.)

I do hahaha

I used to make sprite movies. I started doing them in 2008 or so and I’ve stopped not too long ago actually (I think I really stopped doing them in 2011). I never made a lot of them though, and I guess that was some sort of signal, telling me that I should be drawing instead and not doing silly sprite movies.

During that time I also made really crappy sprite comics, but I never posted them anywhere and I lost them after my HD died in 2009 I think.

However, doing sprite animations wasn’t exactly useless. In a community that I used to go to (and I still go to, although now I’m just there for talking with my friends), I learned how important criticism is. Some people on that community are quite harsh when critiquing, and at first I used to think the same way most kids think when they receive any comment that isn’t “cool” or “cute”, but eventually I realized that they made good points and after trying out what they said, I noticed improvement.

It doesn’t mean you should follow everything that a teacher/friend/stranger tells you, because you’ll be trying to please them instead of pleasing yourself, and you just can’t please everyone. Plus, I feel that no one is right or wrong about art. But definitely do take what they say in consideration and try it out!

So I would say that I’m not too ashamed of the stuff I have done in the past, because I definitely learned useful things along the way.

10 and 20! ヽ( ・ω・)ノ

10.What do you like most about your art?

I don’t really know, hahaha. I think that I just like how solid it looks (sometimes).

idk if there’s anything I really like about it

20.How would you rank your art? (poor, mediocre, good, etc.)

hmm

I would say it’s decent enough. Nowhere near good, but it’s not that terrible.

22 and 14!

14.What do you like drawing the most?

I think it’s anything cartoony. I should start doing more of that again.

22.List at least one of your “artspirations.”

ahaha

That’s a pretty hard one for me to answer, since I have like, millions. Then I end up forgetting someone and feeling bad about it. But oh well here we go.

The golden age of animation is one of my main inspirations. Same goes for Nintendo, I don’t know if it shows (probably not) but their stuff sure gets me drawing.

then there’s also these guys

Good doodle-related questions. LET’S DO THIS.

I haven’t properly drawn in days. Hit me up.

hey guys

Marc made me upload a zip file with the stupid drawings I did. The first few ones were done in february or january I think, and some are from last week.
Again, just a bunch of dumb stuff. Click on the image or here to download. I would post them here but nah

Love that inking on those sonics! :U

Thanks! I have been trying to be more spontaneous with my linework. Often whenever I inked something it would look pretty stiff.

Hey! It’s been a while. Sorry for not posting anything but school has been killing me.

Here’s some stuff I have done. I wish I had better drawings to show you guys. Oh well.
